Tying in with this month’s season of Cinema of Protest films, this terrific drama from Steven Soderbergh stars Julia Roberts in an Oscar-winning performance as Erin, a single mum who gets a job as a legal assistant and takes on the power company accused of polluting the city’s drinking water. Albert Finney is the decent lawyer, Ed Masry, who finds himself gradually won over by Erin’s arguments. Based on real events, it’s a gripping story of one person taking on the system

Tickets: €3.85 including regular tea/coffee before the screening. Wild Strawberries is our film club for over 55s. If you are lucky enough to look younger please don’t take offense if we ask your age.
