IFI Family Festival is back again from July 11th to 14th and to celebrate, we’re offering IFI Members a chance to win a Family Pass (2 adults, 2 children) to the festival screening of Satellite Boy on Sunday, July 14th at 4pm. (Suitable for children aged 10+).
Satellite Boy tells a story of ten-year-old Pete who lives with his elderly grandfather, Jagamarra, in an abandoned cinema in the Outback town of Wyndham, Australia. When Pete learns that their house is going to be destroyed, he and his troublesome friend Kalmain journey to the city to argue with authorities. On their way, they get lost in the Bush. Pete is forced to rely on the ancient Aboriginal ways that Jagamarra has taught him in order to survive. The boys learn true friendship in this tale of adventure and tradition that is set against magnificent landscape and great open skies.
