We mark World Day for Audiovisual Heritage (a UNESCO initiative) with a programme of films by award-winning amateur, Roy Spence. For the past 50 years Roy has been making and screening a series of remarkable, eccentric films in his own cinema in Comber, Co. Down. The films span many genres from sci-fi to horror to folk-life documentaries. This programme includes a small sample from this fine collection of over 40 films now preserved in the IFI Irish Film Archive.
