Pabst (Pandora’s Box).

A loose adaptation which differs from the play in significant respects, it nonetheless retains the original’s satirical, cynical eye, and remains a great work of early German cinema. (Notes by Kevin Coyne.)

The screening will be introduced by Diego Fasciati, Executive Producer of Rough Magic Theatre Company. Presented in co-operation with the Goethe-Institut Irland.
