IFI & FRACTAL MUSIC: SYNTHESIS III: MOTION

Director: VARIOUS DIRECTORS

Total duration: Approx. 60 minutes

There will be a post-show Q&A with selected artists after the screenings.

This edition of Synthesis is the third in a series of programmes presented by the IFI and Fractal Music which explore the connections between music and film with specially curated screenings of audiovisual works. This month’s event explores our perception of movement and the blurred line between motion and dance.

Including the award-winning unnamed sound sculpture by German artist Daniel Franke and the world premiere of a new work by Derek Foott, the programme also features new works by Ireland-based collective The Iride Project, and artists Rachel Ní Chuinn, Anthony Wigglesworth, Marek Bogacki and David McDonald.

Fractal is a music production company directed by Philip Lawson and Anna Murray, dedicated to providing new outlets and contexts for creating music and art.
