Book Tickets

Known for his stunning and affecting film work with children, Iranian director Mohammad-Ali Talebi achieves a warmth and marvellous simplicity of style in this tale of a little girl, Sameneh, who persuades her mother to buy her a new pair of red rubber wellies. Later, she gets upset when she notices one missing and she goes out to try and find it, helped by a young boy.

Showing as part of a short season on children in film, which feature in filmmaker Mark Cousins’ documentary, A Story of Children and Film, forget the wham and bam of Hollywood kids’ films for a day and give your young film fans a taste of something totally different in cinema.

Tickets: €4.80 per person, €14.40 family ticket (2 adults + 2 children/1 adult + 3 children)

Subtitles will be read by an experienced reader. Age recommended 8+
