Director: NOAH BAUMBACH

86 minutes, U.S.A., 2012, Black and White, D-Cinema

When you reach your 20s you’ll be super matureand your career plan will be right on track. Right? Not so for Frances, who’s struggling to make it as a professional dancer and enjoy the bohemian Manhattan lifestyle she’s always dreamed of. Indie-queen Greta Gerwig takes centre stage here (and also co-wrote the script with writer-director Noah Baumbach). This is a funny and insightful story, filmed in atmospheric black and white.
