PROGRAMME 1: JOE COMERFORD
Joe Comerford is a filmmaker and film artist who has directed several critically-acclaimed short and feature films.

EMTIGON
This is an abstract, expressionist exploration of powerful images of an elderly voyeur and his young prey.

WATERBAG
A visually complex representation of abortion and sexual repression.

PROGRAMME 2: PATRICK CAREY
Cinematographer and director Paddy Carey (1916 – 1994) was a prolific creator of beautiful landscape films in Ireland and further afield.

YEATS COUNTRY
His first Irish work was the Oscar-nominated Yeats Country (1965) which celebrates the landscape which inspired the poetry of W.B. Yeats.
