This film screened on Sunday 17th December 2017.

This film is F-Rated. Find out more here.

Set in 1940s small town Indiana, nine-year-old Ralphie dreams of getting a Red Ryder BB gun for Christmas. He begs his parents but they won’t hear of it, telling him that such a thing will surely ‘shoot your eye out’. On the annual family trip to an overworked Santa, Ralphie makes his request again, but not only does he wish for the gun, he also wishes the school bully Scut Farkus would somehow get his comeuppance.

This nostalgic Christmas story is told with great humour and heart, and is based on the comedy memoir In God We Trust, All Others Pay Cash by Jean Shepherd, who also narrates.

Tickets €4.80 per person – €14.40 family ticket (2 adults + 2 children, 1 adult + 3 children)
