Job Description: IFI International Coordinator
Nature of work: This is a full-time position for a 2 year fixed contract.
Purpose of job: To take primary responsibility for administration of IFI International programme and facilitation of cultural festivals of Irish film in Ireland and abroad .
Reporting to: IFI Curator

Irish Film Archive personnel
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
The IFI International Coordinator will be responsible for the facilitation of Irish film exhibition programmes in Ireland and abroad through distribution of new and archival programmes of feature, documentary and short work. The programme is conducted in line with strategies agreed with Culture Ireland, the key programme funder.
Working closely with the IFI Curator within the Irish Film Programming Department, the role involves:
The successful candidate will be highly motivated with outstanding inter-personal and organisational skills. They will be capable of dealing efficiently and diplomatically with a range of Irish and international partners. They will have excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Experience with budget management desirable. Candidate will be flexible and will be able to work as part of a small team or under own their initiative to meet pre-determined targets.
A qualification in the arts or arts management will be a distinct advantage.
Experience in arts administration and a working knowledge of Irish cinema is desirable.
